We invite you to enjoy engineering with us! The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients. They will work closely with engineering to sell, support, & provide solutions for the customer. Must be comfortable with long sales cycles, presentations, and travel. Accountable to the National Sales Director for meeting & exceeding individual sales targets.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Meet/Exceed Sales Quotas
  • Ongoing communication within existing projects/accounts
  • Keeping up with product and service information as well as industry trends
  • Use of CRM to create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
  • Evaluate customer’s systems/processes to identify opportunities
  • Effectively present the company’s value proposition and strength within the industry
  • Organized and prepared to contribute during team meetings
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members both sales and operations

Competencies:

  • Experience with OEM, Manufacturing, or Technical Sales
  • Ability to take initiative and lead conversations
  • Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering preferred but not required
  • Prior sales experience preferred (Phone or Face to Face)
  • Prior engineering sales experience a Plus
  • Possession of a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit is critical to success
  • Reliable form of transportation to cover sales territory, up to 30% of job is travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
